How to use

Check EFTPOS terminal is operational before entering the taxi or ask if they have Cabcharge FAREWAYplus
  • Driver ends the trip and confirms the fare amount.
  • Hand the eTicket to the driver.
  • Driver taps/swipes the eTicket in the payment terminal.
  • Driver tears Cabcharge eTicket; gives you the EFTPOS receipt and Passenger Record stub.
  • Keep the Passenger Record stub and EFTPOS receipt.

Important notes on eTicket

  • Do not tear the eTicket before use.
  • After the trip ensure the eTicket is torn along the perforation.
  • Advise users that eTicket is for a single trip only.
  • Keep Passenger record stub and receipt.
  • Please refrain from moistening or exposing the eTicket to any form of liquid.
  • Do not fold or vandalise.
  • Lost or stolen eTicket should be reported immediately.
