How does Cabcharge+ handle receipts?

Every trip taken with a FASTCARD, Digital Pass or eTicket generates an ATO-compliant digital receipt automatically. It uploads directly to your Cabcharge+ account the moment payment is processed, with no manual entry needed.

Each receipt includes:

  • The traveller's name
  • Fare breakdown
  • Pickup and drop-off details
  • Trip time

Unlike a standard credit card transaction, that level of detail is built in by default. So when your finance team sits down to reconcile expenses, everything they need is already there.

How does Cabcharge+ handle expense reporting and integrations?

You can export all FASTCARD and Digital Pass receipts into Excel whenever you need them. If your business uses SAP Concur, your expense data flows straight into your existing system after every trip, so your finance team always has what they need, right when they need it.

Taxi travel paid through Cabcharge is also FBT-exempt under the Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act. Under ATO guidelines, rideshare services don’t qualify for the same exemption. For businesses running regular staff travel, that difference can add up to a significant saving come tax time.

  • Set trip limits, daily caps and weekly or monthly spend limits per card
  • Define valid travel times and days for each cardholder
  • Apply expiry dates to Digital Passes and eTickets
  • Issue, suspend or permanently cancel a card at any time, whether a staff member leaves the business or a card goes missing

Because these rules are managed centrally through Cabcharge+, you never need to adjust settings location by location.
